To respond in a considerate, interested, connected, way.

1) eg: Will you, "kindly," listen to me?

In other words be attentive and give me your attention. Then respond in a way I know you understand, and share your thoughts on my subject.

2) eg: Will you please act, "kingly," to the mentally challenged student?

In other words respond at his/her level and meet them on an equal ground so that they comprehend what you are teaching and can feel a connection and learn from you

3) eg: wife to a distracted husband: Can you, "kindly," listen to me when I talk about my feelings?

In other words act like you are interested, and listening, to what I am saying, then give me a response so that I know you care about my feelings, and heard what I said.
