replied the topic About google adsense created by Deddy

Google Adsense is a CPC (cost-per-click) advertising program that allows publishers (anyone wanting to put ads on their websites) to insert a small amount of HTML into their sites and have ads appear that are targeted and relevant to the content of the site.
The good news is that Adsense is about the easiest way for bloggers or webmasters to start making money with their sites. After installing the ad code in your site, the Adsense spiders will crawl your site to see what all your pages are about.

They then check their inventory of ads and put related ads next to each of your articles. This works out well for everyone as someone reading an article on gardening is much more likely to buy gardening tools than someone who is reading an article about car tires.
So, how does Adsense work? It starts with the advertisers who choose which keywords they would like to advertise on. Let’s suppose I want to advertise my new line of gardening tools that I just created. I would bid on certain keywords like “gardening, gardening tools, tillers, pulling weeds, etc”

The Adsense spiders would then match my ads up with :

Those specific keywords that people type into Google and display them to the top and right of the search results
Websites (like yours) that display adsense ads.
The adsense folks will send out Robots to crawl your site to see what all your content is about. If they find that you have content that has some of the same keywords that I (as the advertiser bid for) then my ads will show up on your site next to your article about gardening tools.

replied the topic Best video play with low battery usage for wndows ? created by AAA1992

Tested: VLC vs. Windows 10 video player. The winner may surprise you.

A midrange test laptop

For my testing platform, I picked Toshiba’s new Radius 12 running Windows 10. The laptop gave me Intel’s latest Skylake CPU, a moderately sized battery, and, with its 4K panel, the low end of run time. I actually wanted a laptop with a modest battery life rather than, say, Microsoft’s Surface Book, which can take half a day to zero. Even if another laptop has a larger battery, or a smaller screen, however, I believe the results should scale.

The test conditions

I know from the excellent testing that Techspot.com’s Tim Schiesser ran two years ago that lower resolution and lower bit rate increases battery life. For my test, I wanted to keep the video expectations very high, so I used the same 6GB UltraHD 4K Tears of Steel video (open-source) that I used in my MacBook Pro 13 vs. Surface Book shootout. It’s a 74.4Mbps .MOV file with a resolution of 3840x1714, encoded in H.264 using the high 5.1 profile.

The screen was set at a relatively bright 260 nits (as close as I could get to 250) and the audio was on. I even used the same Samsung earbuds as I did with the MacBook Pro 13 vs. Surface Book shootout.

All of the testing was done on Windows 10 before the TH2 patch was released, and in airplane mode. Besides manually setting the screen brightness, all of the testing was also done with the default power settings for the OS.

Battery life was measured using an external, self-powered USB probe that logged when power was supplied to the USB port. Each run drained the battery until the laptop could no longer be powered on.

The results

For many people, the results will be surprising. Most people “in the know” skip the default options for their video player of choice because other settings are “better” or more “efficient.” My results disprove this from a battery-life aspect

replied the topic Memory usage is always over 75% (8GB RAM) created by Gtorok

Hey,
Page file does not slow down your system.
To enhance performance, it is good practice to put the paging file on a different partition and on a different physical hard disk drive. That way, Windows can handle multiple I/O requests more quickly.
Check with this option:
Change the size of virtual memory

replied the topic Cannot create New Folder created by Mikey

Where exactly are you trying to create a new folder? Is it somewhere in the C drive or on the desktop?
However, you may follow the steps below and let us know the result.

Step 1
Try to use command prompt and try to create a new folder and check if you can create one.
To do this, follow the steps below:
1. Click on Start.
2. In the start search box type CMD and press enter.
3. Type cd.. and press enter, repeat cd.. and press enter until you get c:
4. Now, type the following in the command prompt:mkdir folderName
Here, folderName will be the desired folder name
5. Check if the folder is created in C drive

Step 2
Access the link below and follow the steps suggested by Linda YanonMonday, May 24, 2010 8:38 AM and check if it helps you fix the issue.
http://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/en/w7itprogeneral/thread/97de8a2a-12f2-4381-a409-a78f4ae551cf

Step 3
If the above steps fail perform a system restore on your computer and check if it helps you create a new folder

To restore the operating system to an earlier point in time, follow these steps:
1. Click Start, type system restore in the Start Search box, and then click System Restore in the Programs list.
If you are prompted for an administrator password or confirmation, type your password or click Continue.
2. In the System Restore dialog box, click Choose a different restore point, and then click on Next.
3. In the list of restore points, click a restore point that was created before you began to experience the issue, and then click on Next.
4. Click Finish.

The computer restarts, and the system files and settings are returned to the state that they were in at the time that the restore point was created.

Access the link below to know about system restore:
http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows7/What-is-System-Restore

Hope this helps. Let us know the results.

Thanks and Regards,

replied the topic Freeze ups and slow downs created by mcmc1012

While there are numerous potential issues that can cause your laptop to freeze, there are three that are both most common, and also account for the vast majority of stalls and stutters. The good news is that these are also the easiest for the average user to address.

The first cause is physical—laptops will often (somewhat paradoxically) freeze when overheated. Whether it's dust built up in the chassis and vents or a blanket preventing airflow, rising temperatures can put the kibosh on your late night project or marathon Netflix session faster than you can say toasted leg syndrome.

The second frequent freezer is insufficient memory. A laptop's RAM is much like the working memory of the brain, used to hold data short term while it's accessed for a variety of programs and functions. Run out of RAM and you'll find yourself running into issues, including slowdowns in performance, stuttering during processor-intensive tasks, and even full blown lockups and blue screens.

The third and final cause of laptop catatonia can be loosely labelled "software problems." This is a big umbrella that encompasses everything from BIOS changes to software bugs to malware and viruses.

Immediate Actions
Whatever the root cause may be, when you're staring down a paralytic PC, the initial steps to take are the same. First, try to close the offending program. If only one program is having issues, closing it will often temporarily solve the problem. But closing the program may be more difficult than just clicking the X in the corner.

If a program is unresponsive, try closing it through the Task Manager. You probably already know that you can access this tool by pressing Ctrl+Alt+Del, but for a quicker route, you can also use Ctrl+Shift+Esc.

If your laptop won't even let you do that, then it's time for a hard reset. On most laptops, you can do this by pressing and holding the power button for a few seconds longer than usual—just hold the button until the device powers off. If this doesn't work, you may need to do it the hard way—by disconnecting the AC connection and removing the battery.

The next thing to do is check is the temperature of the laptop. While most people don't have a Fluke IR thermometer handy, the touch test is usually sufficient. Feel the laptop chassis, but be careful, because it may be hot to the touch or even hot enough to burn. Hotspots are common around the vents and hinge, and on the underside of the system. Also do a visual inspection of the vents. If there is anything obstructing airflow, the heat buildup may be causing the problem.

replied the topic Svchost.exe high data Internet usage in windows 10. what should I do? created by AAA1992

That being said, Service Host(svchost.exe) is a generic service hosting container. Any number of required system services can be running in them, so I would not get rid of them. You can use Process Explorer to determine what services are running in the host container. My guess is it's Windows Update or BITS running. You can also verify if Windows Update is downloading anything with the following.

Press the ⊞ Win key type powershell, right click powershell and select Run As Administrator
In powershell type Get-BitsTransfer -AllUsers
If you see any job listed as Transfering then your computer is downloading an update. Queued indicates a download that will start soon

Background Intelligent Transfer service is used to download windows updates. If you disable it then you won't get updates.
It is designed to run during idle time and only utilizes unused bandwidth, so it shouldn't hinder any foreground applications.

(Utenti PC) Fare clic destro su "Unità C"

Vai a "Proprietà"

1. Salvare spazio sul disco rigido: Disk Clean Up

replied the topic Computer viruses created by Kip

There are hundreds of thousands of viruses out there (if not millions) and they often designed for different objectives. Most of them fall under the following categories:

To take control of a computer and use it for specific tasks
To generate money
To steal sensitive information (credit card numbers, passwords, personal details, data etc.)
To prove a point, to prove it can be done, to prove ones skill or for revenge purposes
To cripple a computer or network

September is the ninth month of the year in the Julian and Gregorian Calendars and one of four months with a length of 30 days.

September in the Northern Hemisphere is the seasonal equivalent of March in the Southern Hemisphere. In the Northern hemisphere, the beginning of the meteorological autumn is on 1 September. In the Southern hemisphere, the beginning of the meteorological spring is on 1 September.[1]

September marks the beginning of the ecclesiastical year in the Eastern Orthodox Church. It is the start of the academic year in many countries, in which children go back to school after the summer break, sometimes on the first day of the month.

replied the topic How to quiet noisy computer fan? created by claire

Run the Troubleshooting server system boot issues wizard to identify and isolate problems with the setup or configuration of the system.

Download the latest BIOS/firmware update package. Applying or reapplying the latest firmware quiets fans more than half the time.

If only a single power supply is installed in a dual power supply system, check that the power supply is installed in the first power supply bay.

Make sure the chassis intrusion switch is connected properly, if your system has one, and the top cover is firmly seated.

Check the fan cables and headers on the server board against the System Integration and Service Guide for current systems or the Quick Start Guide for older systems. Fan cables can potentially be plugged into the wrong header, causing the fans to run faster than they should. For more advanced users, complete fan header and pinout information can be found in the Technical Product Specification for your system.

Set your BIOS for Acoustic mode. This reduces the power used by the system and reduces the noise.

If none of the above solves the issue, download the BIOS and Firmware Update, Configuration Utilities for current boards and systems, or download the System Event Log (SEL) Viewer for older boards and systems and check the SEL for errors. The SEL may show where the problem is.

Use the troubleshooting wizard for resolving high fan noise issues
