replied the topic How to deal with insomnia? created by Urban

I think this is true. The more you think you want to sleep, the harder it will be. Relaxing should solve your problem. Or maybe close and open your eye in a fast rate. Tired eyes will make you sleep earlier. And if I were not mistaken, negative ions in the air can help prevent insomnia. Consider buying an air conditioner that can create negative ions, or a Himalayan Salt lamp. Or maybe just do something else like, making your entire body exhausted.

replied the topic What are the best one-handed mobile games? created by 1633

Don't forget Geometry Dash! My most favourite one-handed game! The levels are very challenging and the music will go right into your head. You can also try the same one, Geometry Dash Meltdown. The music is better but there's only 3 levels, since its under development.

No one in this world wants to live without the people who trusts him/her. I wish people to trust me, and try what I decided. If my decision is good, then let it be. If not, please forgive me.

replied the topic Flashing back IMEI to Mediatek devices created by Hoshikawa_Momoko

@Hoshikawa_Momoko I discovered this today, maybe I'm the first boy to find this method, oh.....I think I should this in a website. So, everyone's method is working, all of them is not wrong. The META_MAUI_DB_INCONSISTENT means you chose the wrong database. I would recommend you to use the database that comes along with the stock ROM you used to unbrick your device. The database that you should choose should be the one with APDB in it's name and must be put at the AP_DB slot in SN Write Tool. There are two files with APDB in their names, pick the one with the largest size, usually more than 150 KB. Now the one that you chose wrongly, the MD1_DB. This MD1_DB file usually starts with BPLGU in it's name. Some stock Mediatek ROM doesn't put this database outside the ROM like the APDB, instead they put it inside system.img. What do we need is to extract it out. Let me show you how to take it out of the system.img:

1. Download this tool:

http://www.mediafire.com/download/vs5b9xg90v6aver/Ext4unpacker.zip

It's called EXT4Unpacker. This one will be used to extract the system.img.

2. Extract this tool to somewhere in the drive. Now open ext4_unpacker.exe.

3. Now you should see three buttons beside the "Image file:". If you hover your cursor on one of them, there should be a button saying "Open ICS/JB/EXT4 image file". Click it. A window will appear. Now open your stock ROM's system.img.

4. You will see your /system directory. This is how exactly you see it in any root explorer in your device. Now head to /system/etc/mddb. Now, we can see the MD1_DB file, with BPLGU in it's name. Right-click it, and choose Extract. Choose where to extract the MD1_DB file.

Now, you just need to select the extracted file as the MD1_DB file in SN Write Tool. Do what you did, and it should be working. Hope that big, green PASS appear in front of you.

Oops, actually, the latest version is 1.4.7. You can download it here: http://www.mediafire.com/download/392s1ql71t7t811/Merapi+Tool_1.4.7_20160313.rar The first link I gave that time shows update history and download area.

I once did this successfully. And I think your driver was causing your problem. I remember the driver has CDC in it with the name. I'll try to find it if it was the driver that is causing the problem. I really think you should use MerapiTool. MerapiTool doesn't need any special drivers to be installed and can flash not only IMEI number, but also WiFi MAC and Bluetooth address, and maybe more. MerapiTool was also called as VolcanoTool. You can find it right here: http://forum.gsmhosting.com/vbb/f723/merapi-tool-all-versions-update-history-1937126/ Just need to scroll far down to the ground. Currently, the latest version is 1.3.8.

@nihal29 Thank you for the advice. I already installed CyanogenMod 10.1 and I am already impressed with it. So I don't really need anymore custom ROM. But still, thank you.

@zrodfects I see. I know that to get full performance, not only the CPU must we optimise, the RAM and the kernel must also be optimised. Don't worry about that, I just need to know about how much can I overclock the CPU, and it did make positive effect on this tablet.

replied the topic I need help with my Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 GT-P7500 created by Joaquin2001

@Aravi So CyanogenMod flashed the right boot.img with the right settings for the tablet. And CPU-Z is always true. My default Maximum CPU frequency is actually 1000MHz in default, by the way. That's why I asked why Samsung clocked the CPU lower than the maximum frequency that they can handle. But like @zrodfects said, theu do it for safety. It does not look like safety to me. A lot of Samsung devices lags, and I assumed it was the CPU clocked too low. Why can't they just clock it to the maximum frequency that the CPU can handle?
