Go with a desktop pc. They are stronger than laptops. And make sure the desktop comes with a Nvidia graphics card inside because this will speed up your sons editing. Aim for at least a desktop With 16gb ram and a 6gb graphics card and your son will be happy.

replied the topic What is the best browser for a slow computer? created by matchatea100 128 days ago

i just realized that the chrome browsing experience for computers with with 2GBs or less may not be superb so I am changing my recomendations to these two browser's that are specifically made for computers 2GB ram or lower.

#1. CoolNovo
(a modified version of Chrome), it uses a lot less memory.

https://m.en.softonic.com/app/coolnovo

#2. SlimJet
SlimJet is.. well... slim. It uses a ridiculously small amount of memory while providing a nice amount of features (It even comes with an Ad blocker and Automatic form filler) and a bunch of other useful features and best of all It is fast for low Ram Computers such as yours.

http://www.slimjet.com/

One of these should fix your problem :)
Sincerely at your service ~ FixitJorge

the short answer is Google Chrome with no extensions. disabling all addons (java/ flash) and disabling Javascript helps a lot!

Google Chrome, Safari, and Opera all use something called Webkit to process the Internet when you browse.

these browsers follow standards very closely* and they only tap into the CPU when absolutely needed.

In Chrome and Opera, you can disable higher usage of the CPU too:

Further Reading: *Webkit is open source, meaning that thousands of professional people in every thinkable scenario continuously check to make sure Internet browser standards for the modern day web are followed. This means that when there are new ways to load a website that take less CPU or RAM, these features are introduced very quickly. W3C sets these standards—which include the details of code within a website and how this code is translated when an Internet Browser visits a website.

Firefox and Internet Explorer loosely follow these standards, but in many cases create their own ways of doing things without fully defining how they are done. In the past, other Internet browsers would try to imitate these new standards, creating entirely new ways of integrating the standards and a huge mess along the way.

With the introduction of Webkit, a much more unified way of processing the Internet came about.

and remember!, the best you can do is to disable as many plugins and extensions as possible, oh and Javascript. pages will load bearly instantly as you will not have to worry about background loading of ads and scripts running.

Software developers know how valuable these memories can be to many of us which is why they believe people might be willing to pay big bucks if the photos can be rescued.

these guys say they offer a free trial of their software. you might have better luck with them.

there are some other options here but none of them are free. still it might be worth looking into.

Check your Driver

Normally you would open Control Panel > Sound > Under Playback and Recording tabs, Select and Set Defaults. Additionally or alternatively, you may also have to try this: Click Start > Type Device Manager in Start Menu Search Bar > Hit Enter.

The Device Manager will open. Expand Sound, Video and Game Controllers. Locate your audio device. Double-click on it to open its Properties box. See whether the driver is installed and the device working properly.

In the Driver tab, click on Update Driver. Click OK. Else you may have to uninstall the Driver (but DONT delete it) and then in the Device Manager > Action > Scan for hardware changes. This will reinstall the driver.

WordPress+bbPress = ‘dressed to kill’ combination :)

bbPress is forum software with a twist from the creators of WordPress. if you've ever been frustrated with forum or bulletin board software that was slow, bloated and always got your server hacked? bbPress is focused on web standards, ease of use, ease of integration, and speed.

resources, features and showcases can all be found on this site

https://www.designwall.com/blog/make-website-sociable-buddypress-bbpress-wordpress/amp/

if i were you I'd go with bbpress. it's the best if you are looking for a quick solution which just works. It integrates well and can share wordpress database out of box. Moreover there are many Buddypress/bbPress plugins available.

------------------------------------------------

or better yet, you could build a social network for your company, school, sports team or niche community all based on the power and flexibility of WordPress by using the plugin called BuddyPress!

it's completely free and open source. I don't think you'd find anything as tightly integrated as BuddyPress because it's written by same people as WordPress.

Out of the box BuddyPress will give you:
Discussion Forums
WordPress Blogging
Activity Streams
Extended Profiles
Private Messaging
Friend Connections
Extensible Groups
Plus even more using so many plugins.

replied the topic Wise Cleaner 9 programme forclening created by Zer0007 132 days ago

their products are safe to use and the registry cleaner ALWAYS backs up before the cleaning process starts. the diskcleaner only cleans out files that are safe to clean. the files that are doubtfull to clean do have an exclamation mark next to them, to show you if its risky to clean.

I have never run into any trouble. IF you want to use registry cleaners : ccleaner and wise regcleaner are the safest to use imho

Also, I block it with my firewall so I don't have to see their ads, or you could just leave that alone. I think that is how they can help pay for a reward system on euask and encourage a helping community with incentives for helpful answers.

and i almost forgot to mention that i really like the task scheduler feature in the program. it allows you to set a time when you want wise cleaner to automatically do the cleaning for you so you can be away from your computer living your life and let wise cleaner take out the trash.

replied the topic About google adsense created by Deddy 134 days ago

No the app doesn't earn you money. It only allows you to track your earnings. If you want to earn then you have to sign up with google adsense. When you signup they ask you for your website. If you qualify then they will allow you to put advertisements on your webpage. When people click on it you get a small amount on money per click.

Hope that helps

replied the topic Registry cleaner created by stevebill 134 days ago

Here are the best Alternatives to CCleaner:

Auslogics Registry Cleaner is a great registry cleaner program - it's one of the easiest registry cleaners to use out of all the tools. very little setting and very nicely organised report. if you like nice and simple
try this one.

https://www.auslogics.com/en/software/registry-cleaner/

Wise registry cleaner includes very fast registry scans, scheduled scans, in place updates, and a clear separation between normal issues and those that are "unsafe," a feature I loved.

http://download.cnet.com/Wise-Registry-Cleaner/3000-2086_4-10605508.html

Glarysoft's Registry Repair is a good free registry cleaner. simple to use and is a good option alternative to CCLEANER.

http://www.glarysoft.com/registry-repair/download/

Advanced SystemCare is great for the nontech-savvy because you don’t even have to view the results to repair them. Moreover, you could actually shut down or restart your PC when the cleaning is finished.

http://www.softpedia.com/get/Tweak/System-Tweak/Advanced-WindowsCare.shtml

Note: some of these programs may ask to install other programs before or after installing, but they're easy to deselect it if you wish not to install it.

important features to look for in a registry cleaner are:

1. automatic backup
2. scheduled scans
3. automatic shutdown or restart when cleaning is finished.

I hope this list helps you target the best one for your style, but anyone of these are good and I'm sure they will make you happy. :)

Don't worry it's only your left over browser history and cookies from sites you've been visiting, and it's really not a big deal if you don't share your computer.

But if it does bother you then you can always go into your browser settings and delete what you wish.

*History
*Cookies
*Saved Passwords
*Saved form data

After deleting these left overs from your browser try scanning again and the red warnings will be gone.

replied the topic Best software for Run android app on windows? created by AAA1992 293 days ago

If you’re looking to get multiple apps and games up and running on your computer with the minimum of effort, BlueStacks is your friend.

But if you don’t mind a little extra hassle, you can have a more fluid Android app experience by installing a modified version of the Android OS on your PC.

The two leading choices for a full Android installation on PC are the Android-x86 Project and Remix OS

Remix requires at least 2GB of RAM and a 2GHz dual-core processor.
