Are you using the free version of Wise Care 365, if that is the case, it means you need to upgrade to pro version to use some the features, or you will have clean them manually.

replied the topic Wisecare - 365 3.4.5 PRO bug? created by joelkbish

Hi, I am using 365 3.5.5, you can go to the download center of wisecleaner.com, you can try this version and see if your system still freezes. I also tested 3.4.5 on my computer, it's working fine. So can't quite figure out why.
Did you turn off the virtual memory? If yes, I think that is the reason for the system freeze.

Maybe you can try to uninstall and reinstall Wise Care 365 and see what happens. I have another question, did you turn off the virtual memory? Because if you have the virtual memory turned off, something weird may happen like closing itself for no reason.

replied the topic speed issues created by nick

I got a little confused, buddy. Do you mean the status bar goes too slow when Wise Care 365 is scanning or cleaning. So you want the status bar to go faster even the cleaning is not finished. giving you the feeling that it is smooth and fast.
PS, if you want a clean download of wise products, in the download center of wisecleaner.com, click 'for direct download', then you will only install wise products without installing any bundled software.

replied the topic Activation for Windows 10 technical preview created by NickPinkman

You do not need to enter a product key to activate Windows 10 Technical Preview. A product key for the preview is embedded within the installation and should activate automatically when the computer connects to the internet.
Phone activation (or offline activation) for Windows 10 Technical Preview is disabled.

A product key has been provided on the download page just in case you run into a situation where you need to manually enter a key. This product key has unlimited activations.

replied the topic How do I sign into my computer without a Microsoft Account? created by KarterSmith

Microsoft account allows users to sign into websites that support this service using a single set of credentials. Users' credentials are not checked by Microsoft account-enabled websites, but by a Microsoft account authentication server. A new user signing into a Microsoft account-enabled website is first redirected to the nearest authentication server, which asks for username and password over an SSL connection.

When you sign in to your PC or device with a Microsoft account, you can get apps from the Windows Store, back up all your important data and files using free cloud storage, and keep all your favorite stuff—devices, photos, friends, games, settings, music, and so on—up to date and in sync.

I do understand that it is not ideal to have your computer connected to internet at all places and you will not be able to login to your account unless the credentials are verified by the server. As a workaround you have a local account created with password set though you have set the password when you login it will just verify the credentials on the local machine and will not connect to Microsoft Server and hence you use it at places where you are not able to connect to Internet.

Hi, the checkbox does not do anything in particular, but it is another way to distinguish which files are selected at any one particular time. Depending on a users setup, this can help because of color issues.

replied the topic I can't turn off the laptop monitor created by MichaleBurrows

This behavior could be due to some screen saver settings on the computer. You can prevent this behavior by unchecking the option “On resume, display logon screen” from the “Screen Saver Settings”. Please follow these steps:

a) Go to the Desktop Interface of Windows 8.1.
b) Right click on a free space on the desktop and then select the option “Personalize” from that menu.
c) Now, on the “Personalization” window, click on the “Screen Saver” link, from the bottom right corner of the screen.
d) On the “Screen Saver Settings” window, you may please uncheck the option “On resume, display logon screen”.
e) Click on “Apply” and then “OK”
f) Now, check if it still shows the lock screen when you resume to work on the laptop after the monitor turns OFF.

To prevent the computer from sleeping or to delay the sleep process, you may please follow these steps:

a) Press “Windows Logo” + “X” keys on the keyboard and select “Power Options” from that menu.
b) On the “Power Options” window, click on the link “Change when the computer sleeps” from the left pane of the Windows.
c) If you want your laptop to never go to sleep, then select “Never” from the drop down menu next to the option “Put the computer to sleep”. If you just want to delay this process, then you may select any other values as your wish.
d) Click on the “Save Changes” button.
e) If you would like to prevent the computer from displaying the lock screen when it wakes up from the Sleep Mode, then click on the link “Require a password on wakeup” from the “Power Options” window.
f) Now, on the “System Settings” window, click on the link “Change Settings that are currently unavailable”.
g) Select the option “Don’t require a password” under the section “Password protection on wakeup”.
h) Click on the “Save Changes” button and then close that window.

Please let me know if it helps, any more questions, don't hesitate to ask.

replied the topic My Windows 7 keeps freezing created by KarterSmith

Hi Karter,

Try to boot in safe mode and verify if the computer works fine without freezing. To boot to the desktop in safe mode keep tapping F8 key during restart. Once you see the option to boot in safe mode select it and press enter.
http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/windows7/Start-your-computer-in-safe-mode

If the computer works fine in safe mode, you try to put the computer in clean boot state to make sure that third party applications are not causing this issue with computer performance.

To perform a clean boot, follow the steps below:
1. Click Start, type msconfig in the Start Search box, and then press ENTER.
If you are prompted for an administrator password or for a confirmation, type the password, or click Continue.
2. On the General tab, click Selective Startup.
3. Under Selective Startup, click to clear the Load Startup Items check box.
4. Click the Services tab, click to select the Hide All Microsoft Services check box, and then click Disable All.
5. Click OK.
6. When you are prompted, click Restart.
7. After the computer starts, check if it works normally.

If your issue is resolved after performing Clean Boot, then follow the steps mentioned in the following KB article to narrow down the exact source:
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/929135

Also, see the section on how return your computer to a Normal startup mode by following the steps under “Reset the computer to start as usual”.

If the issue persists, you may open event viewer and check if there are any other significant error messages/codes and post it back.

Refer the link below for more details:

What information appears in event logs (Event Viewer)?
http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/windows7/What-information-appears-in-event-logs-Event-Viewer

Also access the link below and follow the steps and try to update the drivers on your computer. “Update a driver for hardware that isn't working properly”.
