@lybwrsh

It depends on the power supply and laptop. A power supply can supply a limited amount of power for example 90 watt charger can charge quickly when compared with a 65 watt charger. Some laptops have built in features that speed up the battery charging. Charging faster will heat up the battery that will reduce the life cycle of the battery!

1) go to device manager and find Microsoft ACPI-Compliant Control Method Battery
2) right click and choose uninstall (do not delete)
3) Reboot and let windows to reinstall a new one (check in device manager)

Dear @lybwrsh ,
For your laptop to charge faster Please :
1)Turn on Airplane Mode.
2)Make a quick antivirus scan if you have an antivirus .
3)Check for Updates for your PC.
4Delete Junk Files (Some Antiviruses can automatically do that like Wise Care 365.).
5)Make sure to shutdown your PC not sleep it.
6)send your PC to someone who fixes PCs if your PC is lagging sometimes(Sometimes lagging longer the battery charging time and makes the battery life less quickly.).
Hope this helps :)

I condition my battery at 80% (i only charge over when I know I will be heavily using the battery.) Charge time could be sligtly better if the unit is powered off but most have a charge controller that will provide a constant charge to the battery, irregardless of whether the unit is on or off. The power supply provides the power and wattage, the charge controller sets how much goes to the battery.

Essentially, unless you have an under rated powersupply, charge speed should be the same whether the computer is on or off.

Discharge you battery fully at least twice a month if you always use AC or risk burning cells out.

Faster charging may be risk. For example explode it. Or battery life time ends up.

The best and safest way to charge your laptop quicker is to have it powered off while you charge it

use original charger. can not charge fast it is depends on company how made it. some changer take 2 or 3 hours and some take 1.30 hours.
if you want to fast charging go store and find suitable charge for your laptop.

The fast charge is not good charge. The accumulator will discharge faster comparing to standard charge.
