CPU and Phys Memory Usage is higher than normal Reward $1
Created by eyesk1, 30 days ago, 373 views

My PC seems to be "running a fever" the CPU usage monitor has always hovered around 17%. But since I installed HP Photo-create software (bought a new printer/scanner) and Ad Block my pc CPU and physical memory usage meter are running hot' 55% to 68% physical memory usage and CPU usage. I've got Avast anti-virus and have been the target of Ransom virus attacks. I bring my task manager and shut everything down. Disconnect my Wi-Fi for 1o minutes. Turn it back on, turn the PC back on and everything runs just fine. I perform daily maintenance; clearing the cache, temporary files, thumbnails and my google chrome browser cache, system error log files, all that junk left behind from applications. But my PC is still running a high physical memory usage and a high CPU usage. What else can I do because this is highly suspicious.

Try defragging, for the physical memory part. Also, with high physical memory volume being taken up, it will force your cpu to be clocked up as well. Just search up how to defragment your computer on Google and it should instruct you on how to. If that doesn't work, take it into Best Buy or someplace like that and have their employees take a look.

Hi @eyesk1

This could be because of unwanted software running in background.
