As PC hardware continues toget faster, so does software, andWindows 10is no exception. This is especially true of startup time: If you upgrade from Windows 7 or earlier, you'll be pleasantly surprised by how fast your machine is ready for action. But there are other performance factors to consider after you're up andrunning. We've compiled tentips, many of which are perennial old standbys in the Windows performance game. The problem with many Windows speedup stories is that they tell you to turn off some of the operating system's more charming features such as visual animations. Most of the tips here show you ways you canspeed up your Windows 10 system without compromising its appearance and functionality. Most are free, but some involve spending alittle cash on software or hardware. For those with older, lower-power machines who want a speedboost but don't care about extra goodies, a couple of the tips towards the end canboost system performance at the expense of some bellsand whistles. If you have your own tips for speeding up Windows 10, please don't hesitate to post your suggestions in the comment section below.

Hi Mazeal ! I would recommend to do 2 things.
1. You might be shocked to discover how many programs load automatically every time you boot. Each one slows down the boot process a bit, and some may continue to slow down Windows after the boot, as well.
To see how bad the situation is, right-click the taskbar and select Task Manager. Click the Startup tab. (If you don’t see any tabs at the top of the window, click More Details in the lower-left corner.)
The Startup tab will show you all of the autoloading programs. As you examine the list, think about what programs really need to be running at all times. Your antivirus program qualifies, so it’s a valid autoloader. But some programs, even good ones, don’t really need to run all the time. To stop one from loading automatically, right-click its entry on the Startup tab and select Disable.
2. Windows may assume that you’d prefer an energy-efficient computer to a fast one—especially if you have a laptop. There are good reasons to go with energy efficiency, but not when the PC’s slow performance is driving you crazy.
Right-click the Start button and in the resulting—but ugly—menu, select Power Options.
In the resulting Control Panel window, pull down the Show additional Plans option. Then select High Performance.

Hi @mazeal

Windows 10 have a powerful and inbuilt automatic maintenance system. You just need to enable it and forget rest.

this solution is for all Windows Os (7,8,10)

" Disable unwanted services and speed up Windows"
--go to start button --> write 'services.msc' and press enter .

you will found in this link many services to disable .

for your problem i think you need to disable some services like the following :

1) you will found in this link many services to disable .

2) use wise care to do this :
open wise care --> system tuneup --> startup manager --> and you may disable unwanted application : just hit the green bottom to disable

under the same windows go to services ---> under suggestion/rating and try to disable all service with (Disable) shown on this column

that's should do faster your computer enough.

1. Increase the RAM of your computer(optional)

2. Try to turn off your Wi-Fi and see if it gets faster during work, I found out that windows 10 isn't compatible with some Wi-Fi cards, this makes it very slow during operation, if it gets faster after switching off your Wi-Fi, you will have to change your Wi-Fi card.

3. Install wisecare cleaner and optimize your PC.

4. Also check if there is any hardware installation that is making it slow, shutdown your computer, switch it on again, immediately after pressing the power button, keep tapping f8 key, it will display an advanced startup option, choose start computer in safe mode, wait for it to boot to windows. If it behaves faster in safe mode, then you will have to trace the hardware that's causing your PC to be slow...

If the above steps don't work for you, read this article

Go to Search and type ” Power Options” As shown in the image below. Press enter and Click on show additional plans. Select “High Performance

many programs load side processes that run every time you start your PC and take up valuable RAM. Disableling the ones you don't need starting up will free up more of your RAM and increase your PC response time.

Never keep any files like pictures, video, or .exe files on your desktop. Keep Only shortcuts on desktop, they will not slow down your PC. Move everything else to a folder.

Go to Search and type ” %temp% ” . You will be shown with bunch of temporary files . Just delete all of them .If all of them are not deleting leave them .

Go to Control Panel and Search for “Performance”.
Select “Adjust the appearance and performance of windows ” .
Click on “Adjust for best performance” and Click on Apply(See below)

Now Go to Advanced tab and Click on Change button.

Uncheck “Automatically Manage Paging file size for all drives” and Select Custom size
Choose the Drive in which your windows is installed (Default C: Drive) Select the values as recommended by windows (see below).

Now hold on to your seat because you are going to be blazing! :D
