@1633
depends in how fast your hair grows, and if you want to follow the fashion,, to show the roots in their own colour. I did hairdye every 6 or 7 weeks, for my hair isvery slow.

Hey @1633

The standard time in between appointments (re-dying your hair) is 4-6 weeks, since your hair grows on average ½” a month. Of course you can stretch this out to 6-8 weeks if you don’t mind the roots. Being able to stretch it out usually depends on what your natural hair color looks like compared to your artificially “sweetened” hair color. For example, if you’re naturally a medium ash brown and you’re addicted to platinum blonde, you’ll probably need to go closer to 4-6 weeks since the roots will have a lot more contrast when they start to show up. If you’re a medium ash brown and your hooked on a warm, chestnut brown you can likely go a little longer in between since the roots won’t be as noticeable.

Have a great day!

You can colour your hair as often as you want, However the best recommended period of interval is four to six weeks between each hair coloring session, because your hair needs time to become fully replenished after being dyed. In between colorings, your hair needs nourishment, moisture, and time.
But be sure to take a look at the instructions of your hair coloring kit for the best guidance. Putting some space between colorings will help keep your hair from becoming dry and weak.

If you’re focused on gray coverage or have a bold shade, like red or violet, you may need to color more often – but make sure you try to keep the color concentrated on your roots throughout most of the process. If you do want to refresh your ends, pull the color through to the ends during the last five minutes of your color session.

Hi @1633

It is better to never color your hair. This is because, ammonium components used in die can cause hair fading, skin allergy and hair fall.

How Often Should You Color Your Hair?
We’ve all experienced a time when we just need a change. Whether you’re dissatisfied or simply bored with your current look, changing your hair color is a great way to mix things up and feel renewed. But how often should you color your hair? By keeping these basic hair color tips in mind you are on your way to a new look, while keeping your hair healthy and strong.

Work With Your Hair, Not Against It
It’s no surprise that your hair needs time to become fully replenished after being dyed. In between colorings, your hair needs nourishment, moisture, and time.

So How Long Should I Wait?
We recommend four to six weeks between each hair coloring session, but be sure to take a look at the instructions of your hair coloring kit for the best guidance.

How To Strengthen Your Hair
During the four to six week period between your next coloring, take the time to revitalize your hair with some of the great conditioning products on the market today. There are some intense conditioners and masks available which help keep your hair looking shiny and healthy.

Using these products weekly after coloring can accelerate the recovery process of your hair, making your hair soft, sleek, and frizz free.

Choosing The Right Color
It’s important to think carefully about your hair color choice before you begin. Consider your skin tone, natural hair color, and objective. Also, make sure to follow the instructions by performing a skin allergy test first.
